A critical juncture in AI's relationship with art. Ignoring AI won't stop its rise - it will only ensure that it's shaped without our input.

The choice isn't between "AI or no AI"

The real choice is:

- Will AI be a tool that empowers artists, or a force that devalues them?

- Will it be trained on high-quality, ethical, and diverse artistic traditions, or will it be a shallow imitation of art?

- Will artists guide its evolution, or will corporations and data scraping decide what art looks like?

The future is not set in stone. But one thing is certain: those who engage with AI will shape its future, while those who turn away will have no say in how it unfolds.
