‘Sunsquare’ – like the memory of a summer meadow captured in layers of fabric and paint – a blend of nostalgia, warmth, and quiet beauty.

It started with the feeling of spring. Sunlight slanting through dusted windows. A quiet afternoon spent doing something you love. The earthy smell of evening rain.
I can’t say I was ever great at scrapbooking. My old notebooks were a scattered scrawl of ticket stubs and taped-in book quotes. But I’ve always loved the look — layered textures, worn edges, scraps of memory pressed into place.
The method’s changed - but I still feel like a curious collector. Analogue processes translated into digital layers.
The ‘Scraps of Spring’ series is an homage to scrapbooking and collage. On the mugs especially, each design is edged in hand-cut, digitally 'ripped' layers — and I think that suits them perfectly.
